From November 2 to 3, 2025, the “China-Africa Port International Cooperation Roundtable Conference and Preparatory Conference for the China-Africa Port International Industrial Chain Alliance” was grandly held in Suzhou, Jiangsu. This conference closely followed the Belt and Road Initiative and the new vision of China-Africa cooperation, with the core theme of “Port-Industry Cooperation, Trade Chain Connectivity.” Jointly organized by the China-Africa Industrial Cooperation Development Forum and Jiangsu Suzhou Port Group, it gathered ambassadors, corporate representatives, and financial institution leaders from multiple African countries including South Africa, Algeria, and Nigeria to discuss major plans for China-Africa port construction, supply chain coordination, and industrial cooperation. Guangzhou Hoson Technology, a global leader in seawater desalination equipment integration and customized water treatment solutions, was invited to attend as a key participant. Its tailor-made “Integrated Water Resource Treatment Service for Port Scenarios” became the focus of the event, earning international recognition through its robust capabilities.
At the conference, Lin Feiji, President of Guangzhou Hoson Technology, delivered a keynote speech addressing critical challenges in African port development. He detailed the company’s core strengths: equipment integration, customized solutions, and end-to-end services. To tackle Africa’s complex maritime conditions—where ports are often coastal, water resources are scarce, and marine environments are challenging—the company proposed an integrated water treatment solution. This goes beyond standalone equipment; it combines proprietary technologies like anti-pollution membrane modules and smart control systems, offering full-cycle services from initial scenario analysis and process design to equipment integration, commissioning, and post-operation training with spare parts. The solution flexibly adapts to diverse water needs across container terminals, port-industrial parks, and overseas bonded warehouses. It not only addresses daily freshwater supply challenges for ports but also supports water resource security for downstream industries like mineral processing and agricultural product preservation. Praised for its “high adaptability, low maintenance costs, and reliable performance,” the solution resonated strongly with attendees, earning widespread recognition.
As an indispensable supporting link in the China-Africa port industry chain, seawater desalination and water treatment services directly impact port operational efficiency and industrial layout along the route. Guangzhou Hoson Technology’s integrated service model precisely fills the gap in Africa’s market demand for “implementable, replicable, and fully-process-protected” water resource solutions. Mr.Abdourahmane DIOUF, Counselor of Senegal, showed strong interest in the company’s equipment integration capabilities and customized solutions. He lingered at Guangzhou Hoson Technology’s exhibition area for an extended period, inquiring in detail about technical specifications, application scenarios, and implementation cases. He fully affirmed the design philosophy tailored to Africa’s practical needs and explicitly expressed willingness to deepen cooperation and promote the implementation of solutions in Senegal and West Africa. During the meeting, the company seized the momentum to formally sign a strategic cooperation agreement, securing multiple port water resource treatment supporting projects, and successfully joined the ranks of core supporting service providers in the China-Africa port industry chain.
This appearance at the China-Africa Port Cooperation Summit is an important international validation of Guangzhou Hoson Technology’s brand positioning of “equipment integration + solutions”. Leveraging years of technical expertise and project experience in water treatment, the company has not only injected “China integration” strength into China-Africa port cooperation, but also broken the stereotype of overseas markets regarding Chinese water utilities as “single equipment suppliers” through its full-process, customized service model. In the future, Guangzhou Hoson Technology will take this cooperation as a starting point to further deepen industrial chain collaboration with African countries, implement more water treatment solutions adapted to local scenarios in Africa, facilitate the connectivity of China-Africa port trade chains, and further consolidate its brand influence in the global water integration service field.

Lin Feiji, president of the company, was invited to attend the meeting and make a speech.
